About Me
I’m Sabrina Gillan, Founder and Principal Consultant of Recharge Strategy. I began my career in social services, working alongside the disability community, where I learned the power of advocacy, accessibility, and partnership.
After supporting individuals and families living in poverty in Washington, D.C., I earned my MSW from George Mason University and shifted toward policy advocacy and nonprofit leadership. For more than a decade, I’ve helped mission-driven organizations turn their values into action through justice-centered, community-informed strategies.
I bring a collaborative, equity-centered approach to every project, grounded in empathy, trust, and lived experience. Based in Metro Detroit, I partner with organizations nationwide. Outside of work, I love traveling, spending time with my family, and exploring farmers markets.
My Approach
Recharge Strategy partners with mission-driven nonprofits to advance systems change, strengthen internal capacity, and sustain impact.
My work is collaborative, equity-centered, and trauma-informed. I develop practical, adaptable strategies that center community voice and support real-world decision-making. Every engagement integrates hands-on capacity building so organizations grow stronger while creating meaningful change.
